VeganMed has partnered with ScriptWorks, a compounding pharmacy in Walnut Creek, CA to bring you animal-free prescription medications! We can compound medications specifically for customers that see the value of not having animal-derived ingredients in their medications. Compounding is simply the preparation, mixing, assembling, packaging and labeling of a drug. It still uses the active ingredient that your doctor has prescribed but eliminates the animal-based fillers that many pharmaceutical manufacturers use.
ScriptWorks is accredited by the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board and certified by VeganMed, and FocusScript. This means they have independent, external validation that they meet nationally accepted quality.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I still go through insurance?
ScriptWork accepts most major insurance companies. They will bill third-party companies, and will be happy to fill out a claim for you or your doctor to turn into the insurance carrier. Some insurance companies do not cover compounded medications so that could be an expense that you would have to pay.
What are my delivery options?
ScriptWorks pharmacy is located in the San Francisco East Bay Area and provides delivery services to the local communities of Walnut Creek, Concord, Antioch, Pittsburg, Martinez, San Ramon, Danville, Alamo, Lafayette, and Orinda. They can also provide next-day mail service throughout California.
